This is my attempt to move my diary onto the iPad, and the process betraying my beautiful yet neglected paper journal. I can’t help it: this new toy is just so much sexier, and there is no way I can have two journals, I can hardly satisfy one.

I knew I will get an iPad sooner or later ever since its release, and the only surprise is that it took me so long. I am relatively satisfied with it so far: big enough to type on, beautiful display, eBooks, a large array of apps to download. Bad points: the lack of usb, all the annoying hoops you have to jump around just to upload a PDF or a word document, how the formats of the documents are incompatible between Pages and Words, the coercion to install Spotify premium, and that the Internet just isn’t quite right. I’m sure I’ll get used to it.

I’m sitting in a Starbucks in Hong Kong, just took someone’s seat, semi-accidentally. I was eying this sofa for a while because it’s right across a couple of totally sweet looking girls. There’s a lack of wifi, but I’ll live.

I was at the Hong Kong Disneyland yesterday, just to keep my aunt and cousins company. It was a lot smaller than the other Disneys I’ve been to, mainly because it IS a lot smaller (a couple of themed locations and roller coasters under par) and that now I’m older. They do have a Winnie the Pooh ride I’ve seen nowhere else. The teacup ride has gave me an epic dizzy spell, but I asked for it.
